I have added a page on the UNITE blog, The Bitter Pill, about the dangers of high serotonin, from the ICFDA website (based on Dr. Tracy’s book)- http://uniteforlife.wordpress.com/high-serotonin-dangers/

I was just so, so tired of hearing from every place imaginable that the answer to having good moods is to elevate your serotonin, that I finally got around to remembering to post that (it’s been on my mental to do list for a while)!

Everyone thinks serotonin is a mood calming chemical when the opposite is true and the body needs to be able to have high serotonin metabolism – therefore artificially raising your level of serotonin by preventing it from leaving the brain can only lead to problems and / or death. Just google Serotonin Syndrome to see how the symptoms of that match up with the side effects of drugs and the symptoms of many “disorders” which are so often caused by drugs in the first place. I will add more links on the sidebar regarding serotonin syndrome as I have the time, but for now I highly recommend checking out that page.

Here’s a snippet:

Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors do exactly that: Inhibit the reuptake of serotonin, thus leaving excess serotonin which allows this stimulation to continue. It has long been known that inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin will produce depression, suicide, violence, psychosis, mania, cravings for alcohol and other drugs, reckless driving, etc. [See full list of reactions below]

Also, the book Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? by Dr. Ann Blake Tracy goes through everything you could ever hope to know about serotonergic drugs, so I highly recommend reading it.
